GPU Accelerated Raytracer
Video of Gameplay
In this video, the player attempts to navigate around the bouncing balls in the environment. While it may seem like there are dozens of balls in the scene, in actuality, there are only three red balls, three green balls, and three blue balls.
This is due to the fact that the game takes place in a completely reflective room, which accurately reflects all of the balls along the walls, floor, and ceiling. These reflections are all thanks to the raytracing algorithm, which when sped up with the GPU, can make a simplistic, but beautifully rendered, first-person shooter.
